Mr. and Mrs. David Corbin and son, Richard were called to Copper Hill because of! the illness of Mrs. Guy Poff, Mrs. Corbin’s mother. Her condition remains the same. The Corbins returned home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dennis and daughter, Deborah Ann have returned to Jackson, South Carolina after a vacation with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Dennis and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols - motored to Hopewell to visit relatives and friends for the week end.
Week-end guests, of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr. were Mrs. G. W. Smith, Mr. Smith’s mother, and Mrs. Ida Smith, Misses Ruby and Willie Smith, all of North Garden.
Mr* and Mrs. Mojffett Pullen had several guests Saturday and Sunday including Mrs. Clarence ' Pullen, Mr. and Mrs. George Grimsley and family, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard and children, & Leon, Edith and Lois of Gainesville. '
Saturday was “Clejan Up” day
at the Methodist parsonage in Flint Hill. The list vestiges of “Hazel” were taken away add ’ hedges, lawn and garden were carefully trimmed. George Brosftt and Scott Dodson of Speriyville, Robert Nethers and ft. G. Thach did the work.
Mrs. Louis Moore and Mrs. John Moore were hostesses at n dinner Sunday evening. Their guests were the Rev. Thomas J. Larkin of Marshall,! the Rev. G. M. Profitt and hisi family. The three ministers, Mr. Larkin, Mr. Profitt and Mr. Thach were guests of Mr, and i Mrs. H. S. Barksdale Monday might. Other hostesses for the week of revival meetings were Mrs. j Brue Wood, Mrs. J. P. Cook, and Mrs. Earl Edmonds of Huntly and Mrs. W. A. Gentry. ' !
