A social will be given on the grounds of First Baptist Church, ' Washington, Friday night, August 19. Benefit of the First Baptist Church Usher Board. It begins at 8 o’clock.
A Supper Mate will be given 'on Friday, August 19 in Mont Salem at Mrs. Lou Emma Williams’ home for the benefit of the Sunday School contest. All persons sire asked to give watermelons. Please have them COLD or send them in on Thursday. There will be other attractions. Bingo, croquet, .checkers, etc. Your supper can be had as early as you like, 'from 5 o’clock on. 50c and 75c, out.
