Mr. P. W. Sisk, who owns s productive mountain farm above Nethers, made a potato-rowing ' record last year. The last of June he planted what are known as July frost proof potatoes. From this planting he dug by actual meausurement 66% bushel*. A number of friends of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Andrews gathered at their home in this place yesterday afternoon and gave them a miscellaneous shower. They received many niceilnd useful gifts^ They are occupying an apartment over Dr. E. W. Brown’s office.
