Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Davidson and children of Arlington were guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. R. Bradford for the week-end and were among those from Arlington who attended the carnival. Carol Davidson is staying with the Bradfords for a longer visit.
Madison CpUege students who came to town for the carnival and week-end were Miss Ouida Tanner who visited Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Dulaney ; Miss Margaret Dodson who was at home at “The Oaks;” and Miss Elizabeth Higgenbatham of Tazewell who was guest of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols.
Miss Minnie Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark spent the week end at the Williams Cottage and went to the carnival, Friday and Saturday nights.
