Shiloh Association Softball Tournament
To Begin Saturday
The Second Annual Shiloh Association Softball Tournament will begin Saturday, August 20, at the Old Hickory Grill diamond, south of Culpeper on the Orange Road, it was announced by the Reverend George Bowman, chair; man of the League. Eleven teams will see actionin the tournament, which concludes play in the League’s three divisions, finals will be played Saturday, August 27, with the time of the games being announced later. — The League is made up of men and women, boys and girls, from the 39 churches of the Association, and the teams are comprised of, those who attend Sunday School at least twice per month. There are 4 teams in the Women’s Division, 9. in the Junior Division (boys up to 14 years), and 9 in the Senior Division (15 years and above). _ Trophies will be awarded winners in each division by HarrisFlippin Sc Co., of Richmond. The schedule of tournament games is as follows:
August 20. Junior Division— Culpeper vs. Woodville-Mt. Leb... anon at 12:30 p.m. Washington vs, Shiloh (Madison) at 1:30 pan.
Women’s Division-r-Stanardsville vs. Blue Run at 2:30 p.m. '(Shiloh drew a,bye)
Senior Division-—Stanardsville vs. Blue Run at 3:45 pan. Brandy vs. Woodville-Mt. Lebanon' at 5 pan.
