Flint ‘ Hill Homemakers Club met in the home of Mrs. Joe Jenkins, Thursday evening. Mrs. Powers, home agent, gave a report on her recent trip to Blacksburg to attend the Rural Affairs Institute. The demonstration for. the meeting was making of salads, given by Mrs. Powers. Three salads and a special French dressing made with tomato soup were shown and sampled by the members.
There were two guests: one a transfer member from Amissviile, Mrs. C. S. Coleman and Miss Addie Boyd.
Mrs. Jenkins served refreshments during the social hour.
