Miss Lelia Taylor Gentry has been informed that she has won a scholarship to V. P. I., given by the Krager foundation. Miss Gentry will enter the school in September.
CLATTERBUCK FAMILIES HONOR ANNIVERSARIES
The Clatterbuck families celebrated several anniversaries when they had a picnic at Watermelon Park, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Clatterbuck celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary, while : Robert and Lester Clatterbuck and Miss Elizabeth Atkins celebrated their birthdays. Those from Flint Hill attending the festivities were Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Clatter buck, Mr- and Mrs. Robert Clatterbuck and children, Lester, Mr. Clatterbuck, Miss Elizabeth Atkins and Mrs. Elmer Atkins.
