A dinner was served in the basement of the Primitive Baptist Church in Martinsburg, West Virginia on Sunday in honor, of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Hiett, who celebrated their birthdays Monday and Tuesday. Mrs. Hiett was 82 and Mr. Heitt was 89. On Sunday night Elder and Mrs. J. H. Daily were their overnight guests.
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Worrell of Fort Pierce, Florida and Mrs. R. W. Dunn of Greenville, N. C. are visiting Elder and Mrs. J. H. Dailv this week.. ' 1

Mr. and Mrs. Carson Johnson of Washington, D. C. came Friday to visit Mr. and Mrs. Luther Brown. Mr. Johnson returned on Sunday and Mrs. Johnson remained for a longer stay with her parents.
Mrs. Jack Brown and son, “Stevie,” of Leesburg were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, Wednesday of last week, while Mr. Brown attended 4-H camp.
Rev. William Carey Barker who had been staying in the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown while conducting a revival at the Reynolds Memorial 'Baptist Church, returned to his home in Newnan, Georgia, Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. W. H. Lyne returned to her home on Friday after spending sometime with her parents at Toano, having been called there due to the illness of her mother, whose condition has improved.
