The Seniors are planning to attend the George Washington— U.Va. football game in Charlottesville, October 1. ! The school is happy to welcome Jerry Gossom, Bobby Baker, Eugene Kuser, Sheila Keating, Josephine Dominy and Anna Boyd. These are students who have come to the county and are coming to R. G H. S. for the first time. 4Mr.
Bios has administered Aptitude Test to about half of the Seniors in Front Royal and has reported the results. The girls had aptitudes of mechanics and the boys for nursing or stenographic work. The remaining Seniors will go to have their tests in March ’56. Mr. Anderson of the Balfour Co. took orders from the class of ’57 for their rings on Wednesday of this week.
The F.FA. and F.H.A. clubs went to the State Fair in Richmond, Tuesday.
Mr. Cascio and Mr. Corbin attended the Va. Athletic Association meeting at Osborne High School, September 17 where the ’55-’56 basketball schedule' was made. The ’55*’56 Glee Club has had twso meetings and the number interested is greater this year than ever before. ' The Eighth grades are planning to take several trips this year.
The Seniors have ordered their invitations and cards in preparation for the graduation. The school is now working on a newspaper that will- be published monthly.
