During the summer we learned to prepare meals at home.

We also have 4-H supperswhich helped out projects by preparing dub meals.

In the latter part of the summer I attended camp for the first time. At camp there were all sorts of sports, projects, and recreation. We stayed a week.

During the eighth and ninth grades, I took about 12 different projects.

Some of these I entered in the County Fair and won red ribbons.

Then in November we had a County 4-H Achievement Day. I won a medal on my electric project which by this time I had taken. three years. By winning this medal, I could have 'gone to Richmond if

there had been 14 girls taking fhe project.

Then I joined the F. H. A., which helped very much with the 4-H- Also 4-H helped m? in many ways with my different projects in in ,Home Ec.

In the first part of the summer, we had short courses at V. P. I. Many of the girlf and boys have attended and reported they have had the time of their lives.

We also have an Honor Club, which is a division of the club for members who have met the requirements of good project work and many more things. In this dub we take in new members each year which have to be approved by each member, fnitiatioh takes place in A^ril.

There are club, county, state, and national contents. Many of our boys and girls have entered these and won.

There is a variety of projects in anything you would like to take.
