Trial Justice Cases
The Commonwealth versus:
Gene A. Bailey, of Front Royal, charged With disorderly conduct in public; fined $25 and costs. Sheriff J. W. Critzer was the arresting officer.
Winfield G. Peyton, of Luray, charged with reckless driving; fiped $10 and costs. Trooper John Lowman was the arresting officer.
Raymond Hitt, of Viewtown, charged with disorderly conduct, and breaking up furniture at Ben Venue Service Station; fined $1 and costs and sentenced to 60 days in jail. The jail sentence was suspended on payment of fine and costs and good behavior for 12 months. Hitt was also ordered to pay $15 for furniture broken. Sheriff Critzer was the arresting officer.
Harold Brown Estes, of "Washington, charged with being drunk in public; fined $11 and .costs. Trooper Lowman was the arresting officer.
Joseph Franklin Norman, of Hyattsville, Md. charged with driving drunk; fined $100 and costs and sentenced to 30 days in jail. The sentence was suspended on condition of payment of fine and costs and good behavior for 12 months. Norman’s privilege to operate in the State of Virginia was revoked for 12 months. This case was appealed.
