Beginning with this tone, Doe* tin G. Beyer will take over as Editor end Manager of the NEWS from the capable and able hands of Mr. and Mr*. Bruce S. Bowie.
Mr. and Mr*. Beyer, and two children, Edith and Kevin, presently reside at Pratts, in Madison County. Mr. Beyer was employed at the Madison County Eagle.before coming to the NEWS.
Basil C. Burse, Jr., and W. F. Earls, owners and publishers of the NEWS, are pleased; to state that the NEWS will continue to.
be published at Washington as heretofore. It is their wish and hope that all present member* of the staff will continue under Mr. Bayer as they did with Mr. and Mrs. Bowie, their Valued assistance
