The United States Army, on January 19th, 1957, announced that draft-deferred status may now be gained by any man who has not reached his 26th birthday by enlisting in the Army Reserve under the new program. This j program, simiar to the one previously available only to those between the ages of 17 and 18%, allows a man to become draft exempt upon serving six months on active duty and participating satisfactorily in the active Army Reserve. * A mao enlisting under this new program within this area wil be assigned'to one of the Army Reserve units located in Culpeper,
