Colonel George Childs of Colorado was in Castleton on business last Thursday and spent the night with Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cannon. Col. Childs, who married a Virginia girl, is the father of “Miss Colorado”.

RAPPAHANNOCK CO., HELD AT THE COURT HOUSE, WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA ON FEBRUARY 6, 1967.
PRESENT: W. C. Campbell, A. C. Latham, Herbert Foster, E. M. Estes, H. D. Wood and A. H. Buckner.
Upon the motion of A. H. Buckner and seconded by H. B. Wood, the following resolution was unanimously passed:
1. Be it resolved that by and under the authority granted under Section 46-64 of the Code of Virginia of 1960, as amended, the County of Rappahannock, in the State of Virginia, hereby charges a license fee on all motor vehicles, except vehicles used by a dealer or manufacturer for sales purposes. and vehicles used as common carriers of persons or property operated between cities or towns in this state and not intercity transportation,or between cities and towns on the one hand and points and places without cities and town on the other and not intercity transportation. This said license is imposed upon every motor vehicle, including but not limited to, automobiles, trucks and motorcycle regularly housed or stored in .the County and used or intended to b» regularly operated Upon the highways in the County.
2. The cost of such license shall be Ten Dollars $10.00) for each automobile and Ten Dollan ($10. 00) for each motor truck or pickup, and Three Dollar? ($3.00) for each motorcycle. The licenses shall bo purchased from the office of the Treasurer of
