Speaking to the teachers on motivation, Mrs. Keyser asked them to be ever mindful of the importance of careful planning, having faith in pupils’ power to learn, giving directions well, challenging tne pupils, setting and maintaining definite standards, and centenn* activities on pupil interests. Concluding her talk, Mrs. Keyser implored, “Let’s light candles, not fil) buckets.’’
