There is. I believe, general agreegree irtent on th{ need for improvement in the public school system in Rappahannock County. The i buildings are inadequate and in poor condition but has it been determined that the need for more modern structeres jS much greater than, perhaps, the need for higher paid and superior personnel? This is In no way a reflection on the present county teachers. On the contrary they are to be admired for achieving as much as they do under the handicaps they work under. However if the best interest of the youngsters are to be served then this question should be given equal consideration right along with rite need for improved physical assets. And possibly even take precident over them. " Also I have often wondered why the time of hearings on proposed motions of the Supervisors is usually set at 10:00 A.M. when probably 95% of the citizenry affected are at work and unable at-, tend unless they sacrifice a days pay? What would be the. objection to holding it (or them) any week night, say about 7:30?
