It is really fine weather now— just right for salt fish, sauerkraut and white beans. \
Seems the hikers hail a time Sunday. Nancy Wood said she was a bit sore, but not much; just where she slid down in a pile of rocks. Raymond Johnson and Sarah have been talking about how surprised they were that they were not even a little bit sore from the climb. Nice to be so young! To me the smartest one in the bunch was Barbara Gentry. She brought supper home with her. “Puffballs” delicious!

Newbill and Carol filler will start building their little home as soon as the Miller men get the com out of the way. Give them a push Carol! Talking With Etta B. yesterday, I could hear Carol teaching her two sons to say yes mam and yes sir or vice versa. It was real sweet and I still like that good old yes mam and yes sir.
