Mrs. George Xethers is spending some time with friends in Culpeper. Having stopped housekeeping Mrs. Xethers plans to make her home with her daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Hood of Hood, Va.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Boyd were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. R. Hudson in Culpeper. Alton ’ Brooks of Philadelphia, Pa. arrived Tuesday for a few weeks at his home here.
Thursday Mrs. Venie Jenkins and Mrs. Conner Jenkins attended the funeral of W. Boot Jenkins in Sperryville.,
Mrs. Clarence Fincham entered University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville Wednesday. Sunday Mr. Fincham and son William, Floyd AIford*and Mr. and . Olney Kennedy .visited' Mrs. Fincham.
M/m2 Roger White was home for the weekend with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Carter White. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Foushee and children are staying with Mrs. -Nora Jenkins.
