Having served you and this County for more than nine years, as Sheriff, I believe most of you know me; therefore I do hereby announce myself as a candidate for re-election to the said office subject to the General Election to be held on November 3, ,1969; I have been a resident of the County for 45 years; a World War 1 veteran, having served overseas 14 months with the Fourth Division; and have had 22 years of service with the State Highway Department.
