Mr. and Mrs. Nelson A. Nethers of Sperryville. Va. announce the engagement of their daughter, Joyce, to A/2c Lawrence B. Wayland, son of Mr. arid Mrs. J. E. Wayland of Sperryyille.
Miss Nethers is a graduate of Rappahannock Coijnty High School and is now eiriployed by the State Police Department in Richmond, Va.
Mr. Wayland is a graduate of Culpeper High School and is serving with the Air Fprce in Newfoundland.
