■ ■ -*■*«** •■ ‘ ’n minor automobile aocidtot occurred Sunday, November 1 in front of Pine Knot Inn on U.S. 211 between Washington and Sperryville, Va.

A 1949 Ford owned and operated by Francis 'Hogan, going west stopped to wait for oncoming traffic before making a left hand turn. The vehicle was struck in the rear by a 1957 Chevrolet sedan owned .and operated by Tommy G. Me Claney a migratory worker from Florida. Two passengers in tthe McClaney car stated that he had been driving at excessive speed and they had urged him to slow down.

Damage to Hogan’s car was estimated at $150 and damage to the McClaney car at $200. J. L. Lowman was the investigating officer.
