Leatherland and their son of Falls Church were dinner guests of Mr. and Mis. B. R. Annel. Mis. Violet Huyett of Yorktown, Pa. spent the weekend with Mr. and Mis. B. R. AnneL Mr. and Mrs. B. R. Armel havd purchased a house in Marshall and will move there in the near future.

Mrs. B. M. Miller attended the 30th anniversary celebration of Nationwide Insurance Co. in Virginia Thursday at Lynchburg.

Field Benton fell while on duty as a Park Ranger and has to be on crutches.

Mrs. Charles Reid was leader of the Missionary Soceity held at the Washington Baptist Church Tuesday. The program was “Baptist Work In Southern Korea.”

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller, Louie Miller, Miss Paula Miller of Washington, D. C. who spent the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Miller, Mrs. iC. G. Reid and Carl tHowell of Front Royal visited Mrs. J. S. Bradley Sunday at her home in Luray.

Rev. Edward L. Lester, minister of the Methodist Church, is a patient ip Newton D. Baker Hospital in Martinsburg, W. Va. He * was visited Sunday by Mrs. Lester and family.

Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., and Mrs. Thomas Eastham were in Winchester Monday.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle were Mr. and Mrs. Warren Frank of Luray, Miss Kate Walker, Washington, Va., Mrs. Jeanette Chariot and James F. Amory of Arlington. Sunday evening for supper Mr. and Mrs. James M. Settle, Jr. and son Tommy of Aleandria were guests of the Settles.

Rev. Claude Cook of Lovingston and Bob Cook were overnight guests Monday of Capt. and Mrs. J. P. Cook. Mrs. James Day of Richmond who has been visiting the Cooks returned to her home Tuesday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Walker and children Douglas and Joyce of Falk Church spent the weekend with Capt. and Mrs. J. P. Cook. „ Sunday visitors of die Cooks were Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Payne and Mrs. Payne’s mother of Warrenton.
