Eld. and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily spent the weekend in Burtonsville.
Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton accompanied by Mr. art Mrs. John Hill of Culpeper were in Philadelphia for a weekend stay with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fouracres. They attended the Penn State— Harverd football game Saturday.
Dr. James Thornton of Gate City spent several days here last week dividing his time with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thornton and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Ifletcher.

Mrs. Dickie. Way land and baby of Norfolk are spending this week with her family here while Airman Wayland is on a sea voyage.
Ernest Clater who is stationed at Bainbridge, Md. spent the week end with his mother Mrs. Maggie Clater.
