Russll Clarence Smith of Amissville died Monday night, November 2 at Fauquier Hospital.
Mr- Smith, qge 49, bad been in ill health for sjeveral months and was hospitalized for a week.
He is survivejd by his wife, Florine Dodson Smith; one daughter, Jaunita and and son Dan Richard; four sisters, Mrs. Alice Tharpe of Castletbn, Mrs Virgie Scott, Rix-t eyville, Mrs. Frances Hitt, Viewtown and Mrs. Rose Wacbterman of Falls Church; three brothers, Jack, Charles and Ernest Smith all of Viewtown. Also surviving is his step-mother Mrs. Mabel Hitt of Viewtown.
Funeral sendees will be held Thursday (today) at 2:00 pjn. from Amissville Baptist Church, with Rev. John Hodge conducting the last rites.. Interment will be in the church ejemefery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Tharpe, John Tharpe, Harvey Tharpe, Paul Smith, . Jack Smith and Horace Scott.
