Allen, Extension Sleep Specialist announces a field day will be held at the Shenandoah Valley Experiment Station, Steels Tavern at 1:30 p. m. Monday, November 9th ' This meeting; will be of primary interest to sheep and beef cattle producers. Some of the work to be discussed will include the effect of various harmones and antibiotics in lamb feeding; effect of hannone implants in spring lamb production; comparisons of pasture, pasture and grain, and dry lot feeding of late, low grade lambs the effect of shearing feeder lambs; recurrent selection and production testing of sheep. Also cross-breeding project with beef cattle will be discussed.
