Weekly Farm Price
Outlook
SLAUGHTER CATTLE Right now it looks like a good idea to sell slaughter cattle on feed as soon as they reach a well-fidished Good Grade. The price spread between Good and Choice grade slaughter cattle • in Virginia is especially narrow right now, and Virginia prices are high in relation to Chicago, where runs of cattle have pushed prices down. Also, most of the “recent drops in slaughter cattle prices have been in the heavier animals, over 1,100 pounds, with many more cattle on teed and feeders planning for earlier marketings, the usual firming up of prices after the first of the year probably will be considerable^ NOTICE — Sperryville Barbershop will be open Tueday, December 22, 8 a.m. to 8 pjil.
