Christmas Party For

Young At Crippled

Children's Hospital

Santa’s sleigh bells will jingle merrily through the halls of Crippled Children’s dfospial in Richmond a few days before Christmas when the jolly old elf will make his annual visit to the children. Beneath three huge Christmas trees gay wrappings will conceal presents for each girl and boy, and to make it even more exciting, most of these presents will be exactly what each child requested.

The Kiwanis Club of Richmond sponsors the Christmas party, and many other groups and individuals contribute to make the holiday a never to be forgotten occasion for these children. A nativity pageant presented by the patients is also a tradition at Crippled Children’s Hospital.

Then on Christmas morning each child awakes to find a big bright red stocking stuffed with goodies and little presents.

Officials of this free hospital for rteedy children are hoping that they will awake to find a big mail sack filled with gifts to help them meet hospital operating expenses for the current year. Their November drive for funds now totals only $69,899.08. They need $140,000.
