Army Private Ernest E. Ficklin the 18 year old son of George W. Fictlin, Route 1 Amissville, Va., is receiving eight weeks of advanced individual training at the Artliery and Missile Center, Fort Sill, Okla. The training is scheduled to end January 18. Ficklin is being trained'to ser* vice and maintain the 105 millimeter howitzer, a light field-artilery weapon. He entered the Army last August and completed basic training at Fort JaclEion, S. C. Ficklin is a 1959 graduate of Gedrge YVashington Carver Regional 'tHgh School, Rapidan.
