Pharmacists In

Culpeper Render

Hospital Service

Tilt1 ; egistered pharmacists composing the management of the retail drug stores in Culpeper have rendered a generous and time consuming sendee to the new Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

Aware of the need for good - pharmaceutical practice in general hospitals and the regulations governing their day to day operation, .these Culpeper pharmacists have come forward and voluntarily organized the hospital pharmacy in regard to its initial requirements and the professional pharmacists’ sen-ices needed in the future. This has involved meetings with medical staff members, hospital personnel and members within their own group. Having prepared the drug jkt for purchases and use by the hospital, the Culpeper pharmacists have unpacked, checked and placed hundreds of drug items on the shelf of the hospital drug room. At the present time Mr. Jack Gallagher and Mr. Marshall Gayheart, Jr. have been appointed by the Culpeper pharmacists to make these initial steps in organizing the drug department. This theyhave done most diligently and efficiently.

This is a splendid example of the volunteer cooperation afforded by a professional group of people
