RAPPAHANNOCK RACES ARE FINALLY FAVORED

The Rappahannock Hunt has set a fourth, and final, and, it is hopedi feasible date for their ofttimes snowed-out Point-to-Point Races: Sunday, April 3, starting 1:30 P.M. at Thornton Hill Farm, 3 miles south of Sperryville, on Route 522.
Nine of the ten races will be run which were originally carded. Only the Mt. Salem Ladies race will be dropped. All races will start one hour later than formerly advertised. Post entries will be welcomed. No entry fees for horses are required.
FIRMS CONTRIBUTING TO RED CROSS WILL BE PUBLISHED IN NEWS
All business firms making contributions to the American Red Cross will have their names published in the Rappahannock and Warrenton papers. This is done in order that the people in the county will have an opportunity to know the business firms supporting the Red Cross, and it ii the hope that every individual young or old will follow their e* ample.
