OBITUARIES
Mrs. Eliia Tumblin
, Mrs. Eliza Ann Turnhlin 78, wife of the late James Snowden Tumblin of Amissville, died Monday, April 25, at her residence.
Daughter of the late Thomas and Jane McFarland!, she was a native of Slate Mills; She is survived by a son, Leonard Tumblin of Amissville; a daughter, Mrs. Violet Dodson of College Park, Md.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Elsie. Whitehead of Jessup, Md.; two;:' sisters, Mrs. Rosie Settle of Rixeyville and Mrs. Hattie Coughlin of Boston; a brother, Thornton Me Farland of Antlers, Okla. and seven other grandchildren.
A funeral serv ice was held Wednesday, April 27 from Forest Grove Baptist Church at Viewtown, with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. James Powers, assisted by Rev. John B. Hodge, conducted the last rites.
Pallbearers were J^mes F. Massie, Wade H. Massie, Jr., Clifford L. Cooke, Johp A. Jenkins, Tommie Jenkins and Claude Jones. Arrengements were in charge of Geest Funeral Parlors.
