Since enough money is already available to run the clinic for more than the first quarter, any organization or group can pledge now and pay later, if they would like to do so.

Troop 883 Chartered
A charter was given to Troop 833, Boy Scouts of America at the Salem School, Wednesday evening May 25th. Two Leaders from the Fredericksburg Club, presented the charter and gave pins to seven boys. Those receiving pins were Tommy Gore, Jerry Amos, Bill Ashby, Grif Durant, Edward Dorsey. Douglas Dodson and Ronny Wilson
After receiving their pins, the boys were given pins for their mothers. Four mothers were present for the occasion. They were Mrs. James Amos, Mrs. John Lee Durant, Mrs. Walter B. Gore and Mrs. Clarence Dorsey.
