Scrabble School

Activities

The Seventh Grade of Scrabble Graded School had a marvelous time during the week of the 23rd. Monday the seventh grade sold cookies and Kool-Aid from which we realized $1.25. Tuesday we went to George Washington Carver 'High School for Orientation Day. We had a tour of the building. We had a chance to watch the classes with Guide No. 22, Rachel Hopkins. Wednesday we had a cake walk. From the cake walk we realized $1.63. Thursday we saw a silent movie, “Robin Hood”. Friday we had a Class Lunch.

Wednesday, June 1, James T. Williams, Jane Carpenter, Maude Williams and Robert Carpenter went to Culpeper to get the class ribbon and the school gift. Tuesday, May 31, we had some dramatizations from the seventh grade: The Ghost of Benjamin Sweet. Shirt Tail Boy, and a Christmas Carol.
