Letter To The Editor

To The Editor of the News:

Residents 6f our county generally are hoping that the new industrial enterprise, for which capital is being raised, will prove successful.

This would mean that many local people, who could be trained to perform the jobs that would beprovided, would have gainful employment' This in turn would mean more money circulating in the various communities, to the benefit of tradesmen and others.

It would be advisable, however, for prospective investors in the project to realize that any business proposition necessarily involves i isks. ^Market conditions change. Styles change. Business trends change. It is not always possible for business managers to forsee and adjust to such changes.

It is unfortunate to note the following statement appearing in the News of May 26, concerning the new project, “your investment will pay S (,/r interest for ten years, at the end of which time the pledge w ill be repaid.”
