Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bowie of Culepeper were Monday evening visitors of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid. Mr. and Mrs. Reid had as guests during the weekend Mr. and Mrs. Suresh Metah and their daughter Rarm’la of Philadelphia, Pa. and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Reid and son j Charles of New York. Mrs. Reid and son Charles are remaining for a longer visit. While here, Miss Rarnjla Metah was honored at a birthday party. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Howell, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller, Louie Miller, Misses Nancy, Alice and Mary Miller Wood, III.
Miss Shelia Keating will arrive today from William and Mary College for summer vacation.
Rummage Sales Net $300
Over $300.00 was cleared on the rummage sales sponsored during May by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Fire Company. The ladies take this opportunity to thank those who worked at the sales, those who donated and made purchases, and everyone else who helped make the sales a success.
