Completed For Tour

To Washington, D. C.

Plans are being completed for a tour of interesting places in Washington, D. C. on June 15, under the sponsorship of the county Home Demonstration Clubs, f It will be necessary to have reservations for 24 people in order to charter a bus. The tour is not limited to members of the H. D. clubs so if you^are interested in going on the tour send $6.00 to Mrs. Lucia Kilby, Sperryville, Va. Reservations should be made by "June 10. The Virginia Trailways bus will leave the courthouse at Washington, Va. at 7 a.m. (EST) f

At 10 a.m. UEDT) a tour will be made of the White House including the East Room, State Dining Room, Red, Green and Blue Rooms. Cameras are permitted on the outside grounds only. |

11:30 a an. (EDT) Tour the Washington Cathedral and have lunch which the group has brought with them in the Cathedral area.

1:55 p.m. (EDT) arrive ail the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the impressive changing of the Honor Guard. - 2 pan. (EDT) Y***t CurtkLee Mansion.

3 p.m. EDT) Tour Mt. Vernon, home of George Washington.

4:30 (EDT) Leave Washington for return trip home.

5 p.m. Arrive in Washington, Va. Please note the time in Rappahannock is 'Eastern Standard and in Washington, D. C. it is Eastern Daylight Time.
