the financial operations ot the program through July 31, 1936, were handled through this fund. The Social Security Amendments of 1936, w'hich became law August 1, 1936, provided for the creation of the federal disability insurance trust fund a fund entirely separate from the old-age and survivors insurance trust fund through which are handled all financial operations in connection with the system of monthly disability benefits payable to insured workers aged 3<) to 64 and to their dependents."
