The Scrabble Graded School held its closing program June 6 at 8 p.m. The "many committees reports. Ways and means, has done a fine job of selecting attractive names for the monthly rallies. The program committee has at each meeting presented us with an interesting program. The paper committee has tried hard to keep the paper off the yard. The club officers held regular meetings and prepared their program each month before the regular meeting was held. Maude Williams, president, Jane Carpenter secretary, James Rankin treasurer, James Williams chairman of the ways and means committee have completed their work in the 7th grade. They go to Carver, a group of very fine students.
The program committee presented “The Golden'Goose” and “The Old Woman of the Woods."
