Dates Set For X-Ray

Tentative dates were set for the 70 mm mobile x-ray survey at a joint meeting of interested citizens at the Health Department on Wednesday afternoon. Warren and Rappahannock Counties are scheduled for nine days useage of the Health Department Unit, starting on the 7th of September.
As the chest x-rays find unknown cases of lung cancer, heart disorders and tuberculosis, the interested organizations will make this a cooperative endeavor.
Representing the Health Department were Dr. L. O. Fears, Jr., and Mrs. W. B. Cuney, Health Nurse. Mrs. Hugh McCormick, Frank Donaldson, and Mrs. Gladys Lewis were present for the T uberculosis Association with Mrs. C. E. Foley speaking for the Cancer Society; Mrs. Hazel Warrick for the Heart Association and Mrs. Mary Helen Loftin for the Home Demonstration members.
