Stew and Evie are in Formosa. It was a relief to know they had arrived safely and that they have a house. , * Frances Baggarly has come back from Washington. Said she had a real nice trip and found an apartment not far from the one she and Clyde lived in when they lived there. The Pettys have bought a house near Front Royal and will move when Frances does. We all hate to have such nice people leaving Rappahannock. . Joe Keyser just passed. Bet I can guess where he is going!
Mrs. McNear, it you read this, would you please send me Ginny’s address. She told me that she took art lessions with you. I would certainly appreciate it.
We notice as we drive through Amissville \hat there is progress in Rappahannock. A new sub-division is going to be built there. The more we hear of this, the better we like it. What we really want right now is big news about the industry coming to Rappahannock. Hope it can get started before too long. No use putting off.
Saw Miss Mary Bruce in Culpeper today. She said her auction was a success and she thoroughly enjoyed seeing so many folks that she hadn't seen for a long while.
