Chairman Jones read letters from Judge Rayner Snead and J. W. Fletcher concerning the use of this building & a records room and library for court officials,. J

No direct action resulted, except to appoint a committee, composed of Miss Ruby Jenkins, Mr. George Davis, Mrs. Thornton and Mr. Jones to find what repairs and improvements are need on the building.

Two sheep claims were presented the Board; one from Mrs. A. C. Latham for two 100 pound lambs, and one from J. Rodes Brown for two lambs 4 weeks old. A motion was made by Mr. Estes and seconded by Mr. Buckner for payment of $40 to Mrs. Latham and $20 to Mr. Brown.

Bills for three welfare hospital cases,were brought before the supervisors and were carried over to a later meeting. Two prior cases were approved. Contracts with the area hospitals were also approved.

On the recommendation of Mr. Jones, Mr.. Estes moved that nonowner liability insurance be taken out to cover transportation of welfare patientj to and from hospitals, clinics, etc. by private individuals. This was seconded by Mr. Foster and carried.
