The Rummage Sale under the sponsorship of the Washington Ladies Auxiliary to the Fire Company will close this weekend. Only two more sale days,' Friday and Saturday, to stock up on bargains for the whole family.

The Auxiliary has bee'll given several nice boxes of items this week, so you can always find some thing new every time you go in.

If you need a baby pen, they have it or they have several suit cases if you expect to travel. These are only a few of the things contained in the big stock at the Auxiliary Rummage Sale. Remember Friday and Saturday are the last two davs of the sale.

To date the sales have averaged one hundred dollars each weekend. Make the closing weekend the best ever, for when you patronize them you are helping yourself.

Announce Annual.

House Tour

The Churchwomen of Bromfield Parish announce that their annual House Tour and dried flower sale will take place October 22 and 23.

The homes to be toured are Mr. and Mrs. Ned Johnson’s at Sperry ville; Mr. and Mrs. Freer Willson's at Flint Hill and Miss Helen Fuller’s near Washington.

Many beautiful flowers were picked and dried this summer in preparation for the sale. Additional items such as potpourri and arrangements in picture frames will be on sale. Anyone wishing a special arrangement may order one by calling Mrs. Ravner Snead before October 1st.
