3rd CULPEPER AREA Feeder Pig SaIe....._A success and a failure! Price-wise reports indicate consignors were pleased with prices which averaged $24.78 per hundred weight_all grade at 60 lbs. averaged $14.93 per head.
Total number sold was 371 head. Based on experience garnered from three sales Directors now conclude a minimum of 600 head necessary to have a “break even sale” from standpoint of costs connected with advertising and putting on sale.
