Eight Scouts Of
Troop 64 Promoted
On October 9 at 11 a. m., Rev. Dabney Carr will conduct a investiture service at Trinity Episcopal Cruch, for the eight Boy Scouts of Troop 64, Washington, Va., who have advanced to first class.
These Scouts will also be awarded merit badges as follows:
Roger 'Hawkins, Basketry; Ned Moffett Jones, Basketry; James Jenkins, Basketry; Timothy Keating, Basketry and Metalwork; Frank Moffett, Basketry, Metalwo-k and Pioneering; Page Mof*etr. Basketry, Metalwork and Pi•'eering; David Palmer, Basketry', Metalwork and Pioneering; Sam Snead, Basketry and Metalwork.
New scouts who have joined Troop 64 are Donald Keyser, Lee Keyser, Philip Kuhn and Stewart Palmer.

There will be 11 a.m. services Sunday at Piedmont Baptist Church, with -Rev. Maxwell Butler conducting the service.
