Wednesday of last week Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning and Butch Browning were visitors of John B. Browning at University of Virginia Hospital where John B. underwent an appendectomy.

Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Palmer were bridge guests Thursday evening, of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Browning.

Guests for the weekend of Capt. and Mrs. J. P. .Cook were Jimmie Day of Richmond and Miss Eleanor Phyfer of South Carolina. Recent callers of the Cooks were Mr. ami Mrs. Frank Hudson of Arlington.
