Mrs. Jean Gallihugh
Mrs. Carl McMillan of Hyattsvillc Md. returned home Sunday after spending several days with her mother, Mrs. J. L. Yowell. They visited Mr. Yowell who is a -patient in University of Virginia Hospital.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Yates were Mrs. E. M. Yates, Sr., Mrs. Louisa Durant and Trip Jorss of Washington, D. C.
Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Mitchell were Mr. and Mrs. Nethers Bowen of near Fredericksburg, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Coates and children, Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Carpenter and boys of Culpeper and Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Mitchell and family of Orange.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones were called to Orange Wednesday night due to the illness of Mrs. Jones’ mother, Mrs. Annie Mason. Mrs. Jones returned home Sunday after spending several days with her mother.
Sunday guests of Mrs. Gilbert Weakley and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gallihugh were Rev. and Mrs. Lawrence Easton. Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Francis Sommerville of Slate Mills.
Luncheon guests Saturday in the James Yates home were Mr. and Mrs. G. Bowdin Craighill, Jr. and family of McLean. D. M. Cloy of Lynchburg was an over night guest Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. Yates.
