The girls tejam wop a spot in the finals of |the District Nine Group II tournament by defeating Warrenton Friday night, February 24. Shirley j Brown was high scorer wkh 19 points to her credit, followed by Rena Pullen with 17. On Saturday night, the girls met Marshall for the final game and bowed in defeat with a score of 33122. The girl? team showed the accumulated fatigue of 8'hard season with postponed games, plus the consecutive games in die tournament. [ The team is to be congratulated and Coach Warren Wilbur, has done an excellent job. The school and county appreciate their efforts and wish them ijick another season.
