Panther Tales

Victory, Victory was our cry_ and we got it!-Two (beautiful trophies have come to their final resting place in the trophy case at RCHS. A net cut from the Osbourrl goal by Mr. Bolyard, our coach, is also on display. We are very proud of both our boys and girls basketball teams.
The Panthers will go to the Regional Tournament on Friday night at Charlottesville where they will meet the tough, undefeated Midlothian Team. This is the first time the boys have been District Champions.
A bus will leave RCHS Friday evening for Charlottesville, carrying the Cheerleaders, chaperones, and about 45 students. We expect a big Rappahannock crowd to be there supporting the team.
The Sock Hop held two weeks ago was a great success. Around 100 people talked and danced to “swing sounds.” Maybe we can do it again sometime???
Rena Pullen has returned to our midst after participating in the ' National Cherry Pie Baking Contest in Chicago. Although she did not win, she is still our State Chamn.
