A large part of the discussion during the meeting was taken up with fund raising ideas and even though there was no definite fund raising schedule adopted, you may look forward to a drive for funds in the near future. As the scope of activities of the local club is broadened, there is an ever increasing need for money to meet the obligations. Please support your Lions Club for it means greater benefits to the community.
We would also like to extend to the High School Basketball Teams our most hearty congratulations for their most successful season and hope that our efforts in improving facilities contributed in some measure to the wonderful achievements.
