The Rappahannock Lions Club held its regular meeting at Hampton Inn Wednesday night, February 22. The meeting that was to be held on the second Wednesday was cancelled because of bad weather and the local 'Lions seemed to be rather glad to be back together again.
Capt. Luther Stuart was unable' to be present so there was no official report on glasses collections, however, individual members reported that donations of old glasses were coming in quite well. We would like to say again that any and all old glasses can be used to an advantage through the Lions Clubs all over the world so please look through your things and donate those old glasses to the cause. It may be well to note that these old glasses that are being collected are not in any way connected with the glasses that are being provided to local school children through the Lions Club. These old glasses are sent to a national headquarters
